The approved Nekomo marks for anyone writing about, linking to, or building alongside the project — press, community sites, video thumbnails, and similar uses. Please use the download buttons below rather than saving a screenshot, so you always get the original file.
Approved assets
Compact wordmark
Small pixel-style mark. Best for favicons, avatars, and anywhere space is tight.
Full wordmark
The primary Nekomo mark with sakura branch detailing. Used across this site's nav and favicon.
App icon
Rounded app-icon treatment with the cat face mark. Use for app listings, launcher icons, and store assets.
Usage rules
✅ Please do
- Use the logos unmodified, at their original proportions.
- Keep clear space around the mark so it doesn't feel cramped next to other text or logos.
- Use them to refer to the real Nekomo project — app listings, articles, videos, community server icons, etc.
- Link back to nekomoapp.netlify.app or the GitHub org when used externally, where practical.
🚫 Please don't
- Recolor, distort, stretch, rotate, or add effects to the marks.
- Use the logo in a way that implies official endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership that doesn't exist.
- Combine the Nekomo mark with another app/brand's logo in a way that implies affiliation.
- Use the logo to promote a modified, cracked, or re-signed build of the app (see the Community Rules).
- Use the logo in a way that violates the Terms of Service or DMCA & Disclaimer.
Note on trademark status: Nekomo is a community-run, open-source project and these assets are original artwork made for it — they are not a registered trademark. That means these usage rules are a courtesy request, not a legal trademark license, though misuse that causes confusion about affiliation may still raise other legal issues (see Trademarks & Brand Concerns).
